Mine is a funny story. I started seeing All Points Acupuncture when I was 42, at that time I had irregular periods, heavy bleeding and constant sinus infections. I had a busy professional life, was unmarried and I had long ago given up thoughts about having a child. After about a year of treatments the sinus infections were completely gone and my periods were normal. At that time I met a guy and amazingly became pregnant. What an emotional crisis that put me into. Anyway the guy left but the baby stayed. It has so profoundly changed my life having this precious baby boy in my life.

All Points Acupuncture gave me Chinese herbs to take a few weeks before my reconstructive surgery. My doctor was expecting to have to do a skin graft but was surprised to find tissue strong enough to support sutures. I am still taking these herbs. We brought our son to see the acupuncturist when he suffered a loss of oxygen to his brain and was barely functional. He could breathe, but had a feeding tube and could not toilet himself. His arms and legs were contracted and he could not communicate. Our rehab center recommended acupuncture. They said it could help children in spasm. He had acupuncture twice per week and we put Chinese herb formulas into his feeding tube. We bought him underwear after six weeks and after three months he could walk with assistance. Today he communicates and attends school for a half day. He can shower himself and he can eat on his own. We believe that acupuncture gave our son a quality of life he would never have seen otherwise.
